IEAPD I
For International Eat an Animal for PETA Day, I lunched on duck pâté (ingredients: duck meat, duck fat, duck stock, duck liver, plus herbs and spices), soppressata (thats pork), and goat cheese, with a little bread. Does goat cheese count as an animal? For some of the more militant animal-lovers, I think it does. For dinner, I plan to go Korean, and see how many different phyla, classes, and orders of animals I can have in one meal.
Its also my birthday, not to mention the Ides of March. How old am I? Lets just say Im finally playing with a full deck.

Happy Birthday, Doc! And in your honor I, too, will eat several animal parts!

Happy Birthday! My beloved and I will be dining Chinese tonight, heavily laden with meat, and will drink a toast in your honor.

Had we not lost our cans of haggis to US Customs (mad cow disease import restrictions), you could have added lamb lungs to your lunch menu.

Happy Birthday, and, hey, at least it’s not a Pinochle deck yet.

Find a better Korean restaurant and I’ll stop by on my next visit to the greater Washington area.

I can’t see my comment, so I hope I also said happy birthday. Damn Chianti Classico is affecting my short term something or other.

ENRAGED
I missed the holiday of which Dr. Weevil writes. I will have to make up for that. Swiftly. A filet mignon sounds very good right about now….
